eLearn with Amy in began in Spring 2019.
I have completed a Level 2 in Animal Management and a Level 3 in Wildlife Conservation at Askham Bryan College, York, along with a BSc degree in Zoology at the University of Hull. I have volunteered for the RSPB and other charities and have conducted fieldwork in the UK, Costa Rica, and Brazil. I have also always been passionate about English language and literature, writing, and art.
The first webinar class I launched was “Living Planet”, a weekly Zoology class for home-educated children. This webinar still runs weekly, and it is my absolute favourite time of the week! I endeavour to give the natural world its rightful place in every child’s education.
I also ensure that I deliver all my classes in a way that caters to children and teenagers with anxiety by running laid-back webinars – allowing even the shyest of students to follow their passions without any obstacles.
When I am not tutoring, I can usually be found in a plant shop (buying yet another plant!), on a nature walk, weightlifting in the gym, or curled up on the sofa with a cup of coffee and a book!
I am now a full-time online education provider, delivering webinar courses to people all over the world, including the UK, Spain, Germany, Malaysia and Hong Kong. I have a Level 2 and Level 3 qualification in Animal Management and Wildlife Conservation, along with a BSc degree in Zoology.

Continued professional development is something I take really seriously! In the past few years, I have gained an accredited Level 3 Tutor Training Award from Myelin Academia – known as a “pocket-sized PGCE for tutors” – long with a level 2 in Understanding Specific Learning Difficulties and a Level 2 in Understanding Children’s Mental Health from Training Qualifications UK. I have certified tutor status (CTS). I also have a recent enhanced DBS check and am on the update service.
When I am not delivering webinars or making courses, I can usually be found in a plant shop (buying yet another plant), on a nature walk, weight-lifting in the gym, reading horror or sci-fi books, making polymer clay earrings, or drawing/ painting (usually animals!).
