Hi, I'm Amy!
I am an online tutor and course provider based in Leeds.

eLearn with Amy in began in Spring 2019, although I previously started out as an online ESL tutor, working for other agencies. I quickly realised that my real passion was for providing fun and educational webinars to home educated children.

I was home educated up until age 16, before I completed two diplomas in Animal Management and Wildlife Conservation, along with a BSc degree in Zoology. I have volunteered for the RSPB and conducted fieldwork in the UK, Costa Rica, and Brazil. I have also always been passionate about English language and literature, writing, and art.

The first webinar class I launched was “Living Planet”, a weekly Zoology class for home-educated children. This webinar still runs weekly, and it is my absolute favourite time of the week! I endeavour to give the natural world its rightful place in every child’s education.

As an anxiety sufferer myself growing up, I ensure that I deliver all my classes in a way that caters to children and teenagers with anxiety by running laid-back webinars – allowing even the shyest of students to follow their passions without any obstacles.

When I am not delivering webinars, I can usually be found in a plant shop (buying yet another plant), on a nature walk, or curled up on the sofa with a cup of coffee and my sketchbook.
